The House of Devils series is my Roman Empire. It’s my forever recommendation. When I reached out, Kayla saying ”yes” led to an immediate happy dance.

Roman Devlin makes his debut in the third book, City of Lies and Legends.

Picture the handsome man wearing a leather jacket in the corner with a smirk on his face. Now, imagine what he smells like mixed with a little sugar, spice, and everything trouble.

Leather. Cinnamon. Smoke tobacco leaves. Cognac. Tonka bean. Vanilla. Cherrywood.

Featuring a 9 oz. amber glass vessels with a black lid. Officially licensed with Kayla Edwards.

Uh oh. Something’s broken.

Shipping issues happen, unfortunately.

Candles + diffusers get broken. I do my best to make sure they don’t. They go on a journey to get to you though, sometimes I think they need built in seatbelts.

If you notice that your item is broken, please let us know within five days of delivery. You can email us at thebookishburn@gmail.com or contact us on our Instagram, @thebookishburn.

Exchanges + Returns

All of our candles are hand-poured. So, there may be variations in them from the website photos.

Scent can be subjective. Please check each candle’s notes. If you have questions or want suggestions, I’m beyond happy to help you.

Unfortunately, this means that we cannot accept exchanges or returns at this time.

We inspect every single package that leaves our shop in hopes that they arrive in your hands safe and sound.

If your product is damaged, please reach out to me via email, thebookishburn@gmail.com - or Instagram, @thebookishburn.
